It looks like we’ll be seeing a Drake and Bryson Tiller collaboration in the near future, according to a Tweet sent by the Trapsoul artist early Wednesday morning (Dec. 12), and it’ll be for Drizzy’s upcoming More Life project.
“Started some vibes with Drake today,” wrote Tiller. “More life.”
Just days ago, the Hotline Blinger’s manager told fans that the new album has been pushed back and will arrive in the New Year, although he didn’t indicate which month.
“‘More Life’ is coming at the top of 2017,” said Oliver El-Khatib. “Stay tuned for some more updates.”
Although this will be the first time that Drizzy and Tiller will release joint material, the Louisville, Ky. native almost signed with OVO, but he received a better deal from RCA and went there.
“[Noah ’40’ Shebib] called me [and said] ‘This is actually a great deal,'” Tiller explained during an interview with Hot 97. “I think he looked the [RCA paperwork] over and was like ‘I haven’t seen a deal like this in a long time,’ and he thought that I should take it.”
Drake has yet to comment on Tiller’s announcement.
